LAKELAND, Fla. – In a tightly even matchup, the University of Tampa Spartans end in a draw with the Florida Southern Mocs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The game began with even possession time by both teams. Tali O'Leary recorded a shot on goal in the 16th minute. However, Southern's goalkeeper made a great save. Due to very few opportunities by either team, the half ended scoreless, with O'Leary recording the only shot on goal for the Spartans in the half.
SECOND HALF: Despite there being a lot of opportunities to start the half, the result was a stalemate with very few hard shots on the net by either team.
INSIDE THE STATS:
- The Spartans had 10 shots, with three on target.
- Brooke Steigerwalt received a yellow card.
- Aidan Smith would make a total of three saves throughout the match.
