TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa Spartans fall just short to Nova Southeastern University Sharks in the last home match of the regular season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: While the first half was an even matchup between the two teams, Nova Southeastern broke the deadlock in the 43rd minute when Sofia Suarez scored an unassisted goal.
SECOND HALF: The Spartans would do all they could to get back level as they increased the pressure on the Sharks. Tali O'Leary, Hannah Kirkpatrick, and Brooke Steigerwalt all fired off consecutive shots in the last few minutes of the match. However, Tampa could not convert on their opportunities and would fall to the lone goal from the first half.
INSIDE THE STATS:
