TAMPA, Fla. – The Spartans tied the Bucs after a 90-minute battle at Pepin Stadium on Spartans Senior Night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF:
The Bucs took advantage of the slow start from the Spartans, recording the first six shots of the game, one of those from came off the foot of Cordelia Brown that hit the woodwork. Ally Wold woke up the Spartan offense in the 27th minute recording the first shot of the game, less than a minute later, Nellie Bryneus took a chance on goal forcing the Bucs keeper to make a save. Spartans ended the half with five shots.

SECOND HALF:
The Bucs started off the second half with the momentum, Alia Jaidi scoring their first chance of the second half. Wold had the answer for the Spartans 13 minutes later as she stripped the ball from a Bucs midfielder, drove towards the top of the box and hit a rising ball into the top right corner. Bryneus nearly had the game winner in the 85th minute but struck the crossbar.
