
Tampa Swimming Finishes Ninth at NCAA Championship
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The University of Tampa women's swim team wrapped up competition at the 2022 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP:
- The Women's team finished ninth with a total of 150 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The women were represented in four of the five events during the finals.
ALL-AMERICAN PERFORMANCES:
- Elizaveta Bazarova placed sixth the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 50.04.
- The 400 Freestyle Relay, made up of Roma Vrijhof, Emma Chestang, Sierra Gillan, and Elizaveta Bazarova, take seventh with a time of 3:24.41.
HONORABLE MENTION ALL-AMERICAN PERFORMANCES:
- Mady Barnes placed 15th in the 200 Yard Backstroke with a time of 2:00.63.
