
Wash U Distance Carnival Meets UTampa Track
March 27th and 28th, 2025
St. Louis, MO -- A portion of the UTampa track team headed up to the two day meet in St. Louis, Missouri to attend the WashU Distance Carnival. Campbell Caldwell, Molly Demarzo, Taylor Guthrie, Mary Richmond, Nathan Reffitt, Aaron Engelhardt, Ayden Estevez, and Declan Fiorucci were the runners that represented Tampa. All with great races, some stood out more than others. Campbell Caldwell ran the 10k in 35:25.31, finishing 14th overall. This race had a numerous amounts of achievement attached to it: she broke the 20 year old school record, dated back to 2004, and her time qualified her for nationals with a provisional mark. Truley an unforgettable weekend for Caldwell. She currently stands at 11th in the country with that time. Another stand out performance was ran by Olivia Harp, went sun-17 minutes in the 5k, finishing in 18th place with a time of 16:59.83. She is currently the standing at the second fastest time in school history and only the second Tampa runner to go sub-17, right behind Caldwell. The Spartans wore Tampa across their chest proudly. They will compete this weekend at Embry-Riddle for a two day meet!
