
Spartans Conclude Season At NCAA National Championships
SEATTLE, Wash. – The University of Tampa women's cross country team concluded its 2022 season at the NCAA Division II National Championships at the Fall Festival, finishing 29th in the nation among the nation's top teams.

- Aspen Gordon | 135th overall, 22:30.1
- Hannah Capel | 150th overall, 22:36.2
- Emma Skinner | 184th overall, 23:03.4
- Katelyn Deitrick | 193rd overall, 23:10.1
OTHER NOTABLES:
- Moreno led the way as the fastest Spartan.
- Moreno, Gordon and Capel each finished in the team's top three in final three competitions of the season.
- Skinner and Deitrick, both true freshmen, rounded out the Spartan top five.
- Head coach Logan Wells also registered Riley Kwiatkowski (23:55.1) and Tabitha Suggs (24:29.6).
- Stephanie Cotter of Adams State was the individual national champion, finishing the race with a time of 19:45.2. She was the lone sub-20-minute runner in the race.
