Tampa Cross Country Set for SSC Championships on Saturday

LAKELAND, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Lakeland on Saturday for the 2023 Sunshine State Conference Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships. The event will take place at Holloway Park.

UT's women are coming off a second-place finish at the 2022 Championships at Hollway Park. The nationally-ranked Spartans sit at No. 17 in the nation. UT is looking to capture the program's 17th SSC title, which was previously accomplished in 2020-21.

The Spartan men are looking for the program's second SSC Championship, and first since 2011. The Spartans finished third at the 2022 championships.
