Mary Richmond Leads Tampa at UNF Invite
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - At the University of North Florida 5K Cross Country Challenge, the University of Tampa women's cross country team finished third overall, scoring 71 points. The University of North Florida claimed first place with 27 points, followed closely by Florida Atlantic with 33 points.
Top Tampa Runners
- Freshman Mary Richmond led the Tampa squad with a strong finish in 11th place, clocking a time of 19:08.2.
- Hannah Diete followed closely in 13th with a time of 19:12.4.
- Tabitha Suggs finished 14th, completing the course in 19:16.4.
- Taylor Guthrie placed 18th (19:26.6), and Paige Ewald took 19th (19:30.6).

The Spartans return to action on Friday, September 27 at the Florida State Pre-Regional in Tallahassee, Fla. The event will take place at Apalachee Regional Park, with the race starting at 8:10 am.
