Spartans Set to Host Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish
The University of Tampa baseball team will host the Sailfish for a three-game series.

TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa baseball team will host the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish for a weekend series. The first pitch will be thrown at 6 pm on Friday.
The Matchup: No. 2 the University of Tampa vs. Palm Beach Atlantic
Date/Time: Friday, April 13th at 6 p.m., Saturday, April 14th at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

About the Spartans: The No. 2 ranked University of Tampa Spartans are led by junior Nick DeTringo who has a .377 hitting percentage. Drew Ehrhard has the second leading batting average with .368. Harrison Bragg leads the team in RBIs with 42. Mark Moclair leads the pitching order with a 0.90 ERA. David Lebron leads the team in strikeouts with 88.
About the Sailfish: The Sailfish are traveling to Tampa with a 20-17 overall record and a 9-9 conference record. As a team, the Sailfish have a .272 batting average, .355 on-base percentage, and a .394 slugging percentage. Connor Rowland leads the team in batting average with .327. Kyle Simon leads the team with 30 RBIs. Mikhail Cazenave leads the pitching order with a 2.97 ERA and 78 strikeouts.
Series History: Tampa owns the all-time series over the Sailfish by a 21-6 mark.
Tickets: Tickets for are $5 for adults, senior citizens, and coaches. Children under 12 will be admitted free. UT students, faculty and staff will be admitted free with a valid student ID.
