As a Freshman: Second-team all-Sunshine State Conference...Started in all of the 53 games in his first season with the Spartans...Recorded 76 hits in 221 at-bats to compile a .344 batting average...Had 18 extra base hits, including 11 doubles, two triples, and five home runs...Drove in 56 runs...Drew 18 walks and only struck out 27 times in 221 plate appearances...Season-high of 3 RBIs against Catawba (3/7) and against Eckerd (5/6). Had 23 games in which he recorded multiple hits, in 11 of those games he tallied at least 3 or more.
