TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa baseball team swept the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish in a three game conference series.

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 2:
- The Spartans were the first team to put a run up on the board in the bottom of the first. Nick DeTringo homered.
- Pitcher Cheyene Bickel relieved Keven Pimentel in the top of the eighth.
- Bottom of the eighth Drew Ehrhard scored off a RBI from Danny Sirven.
- The Spartans went on to win 2-0.
INSIDE THE STATS GAME 2:
- Pimentel had his eighth win of the season. Bickel had his fifth save of the season.
- Pitchers tallied five strikeouts.
- DeTringo had his sixth homerun of the season.
- Sirven led the Spartans in hits with three.
HOW IT HAPPENED GAME 3:
- The Spartans were the first team to score in the bottom of the second. Sirven scored off a sacrifice fly RBI from Richie Rivera.
- The Sailfish battled back with a run in the top of the fifth.
- Rivera scored off a SAC bunt from Gali. Darren Miller RBI allowed Ehrhard to score.
- Bottom of the sixth the Spartans score four runs. Rivera homered to left center, 3 RBI; Danny Maynard scored; Bragg scored. Gali scored off a RBI from Ehrhard.
- Miller doubled to right field, 2 RBI; Garrett Back advanced to third, scored on a throwing error by rf, unearned; Kyle Cotillett scored; Rivera scored. Bragg flied out to rf, RBI; Miller scored, unearned.
- Pitcher Cole Aker relieved Clay Helvey.
- The Spartans went on to win 11-1.

- Clay Helvey had his fourth win of the season.
- Pitchers tallied six strikeouts.
