Tampa Men's Golf Announces Tryout Information

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's golf team has announced its dates for 2016-17 tryouts. These are open to UT students who are registered for the fall 2016 semester.
Tryouts will take place on Sept 3-4 at Rogers Park Golf Course in Tampa.

Cuts are: 154 (2 rounds), 306 (4 rounds), 453 (6 rounds). The sixth round cut requires a 76.5 average to continue.

To tryout, you must attend the August 29 meeting, which begins at 4 p.m., in the Sword & Shield Room at the Bob Martinez Sports Center.

Please bring your class schedule, e-mail address and phone number.

Those who are new students are also required to bring the following forms: Physical, Sickle Cell and Assumption of Risk.

You will need a doctors excuse or a class note to not attend. In either case, you need to notify head coach Rick Christie in advance.
