
UT Continues Climb in Top 25
KANSAS CITY, Kans. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team is currently ranked 10th in the newest NSCAA/adidas Division II National Poll, moving up four spots from last week's 14th-place showing.
With a 12-2-1 record, Tampa is currently riding a six-game winning streak, including a three game streak in Sunshine State Conference play. The Spartans also carry a 4-2 SSC mark.
UT has now spent six weeks in the national top 25 this season, its most since the national championship season of 2001. Tampa's highest ranking this season is ninth, which was in poll five.
The Spartans travel to Lakeland to meet Florida Southern on Friday. Game time is 7 p.m.
