Adrian Bush Named South Region Coach of the Year
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's soccer coach Adrian Bush was named South Region Coach of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA).
In his fourth season as Spartan head coach, Bush led his team to an 18-4-1 record, including recent wins over No. 1 Lynn University and No. 5 Tusculum College. With the 3-2 double overtime victory over the Tusculum Pioneers, Tampa advanced to their first NCAA II Final Four appearance since the 2001 national championship season.
Bush also played at UT from 1990-1994. A four-time all-region and all-Sunshine State Conference selection, Bush was named National Player of the Year in 1994 while captaining the Spartans to a national title.
