Pascal Milien Named NSCAA All-American
TAMPA, Fla. - University of Tampa men's soccer player Pascal Milien was represented as a third team All-American by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). After leading his team to the NCAA II Final Four, Milien was the lone Spartan to be an NSCAA All-American.
A junior forward from Auburndale, Milien led the Spartans with 11 goals, 17 assists and 39 points while turning in a team-high four game-winning goals. He registered a point in 16 of 23 games, including 10 multiple point efforts.
"Pascal is definitely deserving of this honor and it has been a long time since the University of Tampa was represented in this class of players," says head coach Adrian Bush. "It doesn't happen without your teammates and we are all happy to see him represented with the top players in the country."
Among the hardware Milien has received in the 2008 season is first-team all-Sunshine State Conference, first-team all-South Region (Daktronics) and first-team All-American (Daktronics). He was also chosen to the SSC, NCAA South Regional and NCAA National all-tournament teams.
