
#8 Spartans Set To Take On Sharks In SSC Semifinal On Friday
TAMPA, Fla. - The eighth-ranked and second-seeded University of Tampa men's soccer team (14-1-1, 7-1) will take on sixth-seeded Nova Southeastern University (8-9-2, 3-5) on Friday night at 8 p.m. in the semifinal round of the Sunshine State Conference Tournament.
The Spartans ran off four straight wins to conclude the regular season, including a 6-1 win on the road against the Sharks. Tampa is led by top goal scorer Pascal Milien and fellow All-SSC first team member Lister Warren, who is coming off a three-goal game against Saint Leo. UT also boasts the 2009 SSC Defensive Player of the Year, Ryan Thompson, in goal.
Single day tickets are available for $8 (adults), $5 (students age 13 - college) and free for children age 12 and under.
