TAMPA, Fla. - Former University of Tampa men's soccer player Pascal Milien has agreed to terms with the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the North American Soccer League (NASL). The first year team announced the Milien signing along with plans to play its home games at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
Milien, a forward from Auburndale, Fla., played for the Spartans from 2007-09 after competing for one season at Lindsey Wilson College. He is the lone player in NCAA Division II to be a back-to-back All-American.
While playing in all 21 games in 2009, Milien led Tampa with 12 goals. He was also tied for team honors with seven assists. Among his team-high six game-winning goals was a winner against then-No. 1 Lynn University on Oct. 3.
In three years as a Spartan, Milien concluded his career with 79 points to rank ninth on UT's all-time list. He also netted 25 goals, 10 of which were game winners to rank third in Tampa history. He also finished second in the Spartan record books with 29 career assists.
