Tampa Turns In Breakout Performance In Victory Over Johnson & Wales

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - The University of Tampa (2-2) men's soccer team traveled to Johnson & Wales University (0-3) and registered an impressive 12-0 victory on the road.
It took the Spartan offense just over 10 minutes to begin its barrage of goals as Ryan Griffin connected on a goal via a Brian Fekete assist. It was the first of two goals for Griffin as the junior from Tampa also netted a pair of assists.
Sophomore Kemal Malcolm scored his first Tampa hat trick and was also credited with an assist as Fekete also finished with two goals and two assists.
Lister Warren contributed two goals as Brock Jennings, Juan Rivas and Dominic Goncalves each scored a goal. Goncalves also finished with one assist.
Greg Sasser and John Reddick each had two assists while Andrej Gulan chipped in one.
David Niepel and Clete Goddard shared duties in goal, playing 60 and 30 minutes respectively. Each keeper turned in a save for UT.
Tampa outshot its opponent by a 34-2 clip and also notched four corners to just one for JWU.
