Tampa Receives Mention In Final Men’s Soccer Poll
KANSAS CITY, Kan. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team had a No. 23 showing in the final NSCAA/HendrickCars.com national rankings.
The Spartans won the Sunshine State Conference tournament championship and advanced to the NCAA South Regional before finishing the season with a 14-7-1 overall record. While winning the program's second SSC tourney title, UT has now been chosen for four consecutive NCAA tournaments.
Tampa spent a total of eight weeks in the top 25 for the 2010 season, being ranked as high as fifth in the preseason tally. The Spartans have now been ranked each of the previous four seasons.
