Brown Earns All-Region Honors
Senior defender Theo Brown named second team All-Region.
BOCA RATON, Fla. - The D2CCA Men's Soccer All-South Region team was announced on Monday afternoon, representing the University of Tampa Spartans was defender Theo Brown, who earned second team honors.
Brown anchored a Spartan defense that limited opponents to just 1.48 goals per game. The senior defender also tallied one assist this year and posted a shots on goal percentage of 1.000.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies, and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
