HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The game began with physical play between the near city rivals. Captain Juancho Fernandez was all over the pitch early, with a shot on goal hitting the post. The Spartans dominated possession time in the first half. Tampa outshot Saint Leo 11-3 in the first 45 minutes. The half would end scoreless between the two conference rivals. Score: 0-0 Tie
SECOND HALF: The second half opened up with the teams continuing to battle hard. The Lions got on the board in the 67th minute to gain a 1-0 lead. The Lions' goal would prove to be the only one of the match. Final: 1-0 Saint Leo
