HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The game began with Tampa dominating the possession time. The evenly matched conference foes were playing well on the defensive side of the ball. The first half saw little shots on goal, and it ended knotted at zero. Score: 0-0 Tie
SECOND HALF: The second half opened up with Lynn opening the scoring on a penalty kick awarded to them in the first minute. The Fighting Knights continued to find the back of the net, building a 3-0 lead. Senior Omar Thali found the back of the net off a penalty kick in the 75th minute to spark the Tampa team. Till Neumann netted his first of the year in the 86th minute to get the Spartans within one. Ultimately, the Tampa offense got started too late. Final: 3-2 Lynn
