HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The game began with a hard fought battle to advance in the tournament. There would be very few shots from either team in the half, leaving it knotted at zero headed into halftime. Score: 0-0 Tie
SECOND HALF: The second half opened up with each team urgent to score. Captain Juancho Fernandez netted the first goal of the game in the 64th minute off a feed from Omar Thali. Just seven minutes later, the duo would strike again, with Thali finding Fernandez in front of the net with a beautiful pass, building the Spartan lead to two goals. From then on, the Spartans controlled the match and would go on to earn the win. Final: 2-0 Tampa

- Adam Forster started in goal for the Spartans, recording one save
- Juancho Fernandez recorded a team leading 5 shots
- Six Spartans played the full 90 minutes, Cody Wells, Sean Quinn, Nico Gamio Marcello Valbuena, Carlos Ledon and Albert Morales
