Ryan Thompson, Ezrick Nicholls Represent UT at Gold Cup

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's soccer program was well represented at the 2023 Gold Cup as a pair of alums represented St. Kitts and Nevis and the United States.

Ezrick Nicholls earned a spot on the St. Kitts and Nevis team as a player, where he was part of a team that advanced to the Gold Cup in record-setting fashion for the island nation.

Ryan Thompson, a former goalkeeper for the Spartans and Class of 2022 Tampa Hall of Fame member, was selected as the goalkeeping coach for the United States. The Jamaican native followed up a highly successful professional career with success as a coach as he currently serves as the Director of Coaching at RTG Academy in Austin, Texas.
