Tampa Prepares to Defend Home Turf

TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's soccer team are ready to defend their home turf against the Saints.

Time/Location: 6:00 p.m. at Pepin Stadium || Tampa, Fla. 

About the Spartans: The Spartans are coming off a 1-0 loss to Saint Leo on Wednesday night. Junior forward Pablo Marques made his first start as a Spartan, and recorded 7 shots in the match. Tampa averages 11.8 shots per game, and has recorded 71 total shots on the season. The Spartans are looking to defend their home turf and get back into the win column on Saturday.

About Upcoming Opponent: 

Flagler Saints

The Saints are coming off a 2-1 loss to Lander on Wednesday night. Flagler has an overall record of 1-4-1 so far in the season. The Saints average 12.5 shots per game, with 75 total shots. Junior midfielder Marcus Hedemann leads the Saints in goals with three. Flagler is looking for their second road win of the season in Tampa on Saturday.
