FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. – The University of Tampa men's soccer team closes out the regular season with a road win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
FIRST HALF: The game began with the Tampa defense playing really well early. Late in the third minute, Marcello Valbuena capitalized off a pass from teammate Pablo Marques to put the Spartans in the lead early. In the 10th minute of the match, Ricardo Sepulveda found the back of the net for the Spartans to build the lead. The Spartans had a late chance to go up by three goals headed into the half, but the shot went just above the crossbar.
Score: 2-0 Tampa
SECOND HALF: The second half opened with the Spartans eager to keep the Sharks off the scoreboard. The Sharks netted a goal about 15 minutes into the half, but it was waved offsides. In the 85th minute, Viggo Svedin took advantage of an empty Sharks net and put to game away for the Spartans.
Final: 3-0 Tampa
