MONTGOMERY, Ala – The University of Tampa men's soccer team falls to Auburn-Montgomery on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

FIRST HALF: The match began with the Spartans recording the first shot behind defenseman Jack Hartford, forcing the Warhawks' goalkeeper to make an early save. In the 31^st minute of the match, Auburn-Montgomery opened the scoring with a low-left shot. Tampa continued to create chances, with Rodrigo Lopes recording two shots towards the end of the half, before the first 45 minutes came to a close.

Score: 1-0 Auburn-Montgomery

SECOND HALF: The second half opened with the Spartans eager to find the back of the net. About one minute in, Auburn-Montgomery netted their second of the game to build their lead. The Warhawks' goal proved to be the lone goal of the half, as the Spartans fell 2-0.
