HOW IT HAPPENED:

FIRST HALF: The match began with each team eager to open the scoring. Goalkeeper Alex Hare made a save with just over 35 minutes left to keep the match knotted at zero. With just over 20 minutes left before the half, senior Pablo Marques recorded a shot on goal, forcing the Eagles' goalkeeper to make a save. The teams would remain tied at zero headed into the break.

Score: 0-0 Tie

SECOND HALF: The second half opened with the Eagles netting an early goal to take the lead. The Tampa offense came alive soon after, creating scoring chances and recording consecutive shots on goal. In the 81^st minute, Jack Hartford put the Spartans on the board to tie the match at one. Less than one minute later, Pablo Marques netted an unassisted goal to put Tampa in the lead. With less than three minutes left to play, Hartford found the back of the net for the second time off a pass from Viggo Svedin to secure the Tampa win.
