TAMPA, Fla. - Jack Hartford and Alex Hare named Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week by the Sunshine State Conference.
Hartford was prolific in front of net for the Spartans across two games, scoring three goals from three shots in his 71 minutes on the field. The Maryland native would provide an assist and score the game tying goal in a 2-2 draw at Flagler, and follow that up with two goals in the last 10 minutes of a thrilling win over conference opponents Embry-Riddle. This is Hartford's first time winning the award.
Hare proved to be big in goal for Tampa once again facing multiple shots and making multiple saves over the last two matches. At Flagler the Briton faced eight shots on target from the opposition, recording six saves. At home Hare would face six shots on target from the opponents, stopping five of them.
