Former Spartan Tarek Ghamraoui Signs Pro Contract With CD Pedroneras

TAMPA, Fla. - Former University of Tampa men's soccer standout Tarek Ghamraoui has announced his signing with Spanish professional club CD Pedroneras.

Ghamraoui, who played in 17 games in 2024 for the Spartans, started 16 in his lone season at UT. The All-SSC defender added one goal. Overall, he helped Tampa record three clean sheets, and tallied 10 shots, with 3 on goal.

Club Deportivo Pedroñeras is a Spanish football club located in Las Pedroñeras, Cuenca, in the autonomous community of Castilla–La Mancha. Founded in 1964 it currently plays in Tercera División – Group 18, holding home matches at Municipal de Las Pedroñeras with a capacity of 1,000 spectators.
