Men's Swimming First at Tampa Relays
The Spartans won seven of Saturday's 10 relay races.
TAMPA, Fla. – The University of Tampa men's swimming team finished first among four teams at the Tampa Relays on a rainy Saturday morning.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
• Tampa claimed first place in seven of the 10 men's events.
• The meet included all relay events.
TOP PERFORMERS:
• Tampa took first in the 3x100 Fly Relay to begin the men's action. The team of Marc-Olivier Caron, Sean Rodney and Martin Hammer finished in 2:37.67.
• The team of Dominic Russo, Brett Saunders and Aaron James were timed at 2:42.86 to finish first in the 3x100 Back Relay.
• UT also won the 3x100 with a time of 3:01.04 by Forrest Lundy, Stefano Vrolijk and Nicholas Stoski.
• The Spartans were first in the 800 Free Relay as the team of Caron, Martin Hammer, Tommy Reminger and Lundy won in 7:11.94.
• James, Bryan Mattingly, Vrolijk and Zach Potter won the 8x50 Free Relay with a time of 2:54.73.
• In the 3x166 SNARF Relay, UT's group of Reminger, Nick Tinucci and Tomas Manso-Fraga were first with a 5:05.40 effort.
• Tampa's Vrolijk, Saunders, Lundy and Rodney won the 400 IM Relay after being clocked at 3:37.93.
UP NEXT:
UT heads to Savannah, Ga., to face SCAD on Friday at 11 a.m.
