As a Freshman: Recorded overall top times at the 2021 Shark Invitational in the 100Y freestyle (45.51), 50Y butterfly (22.19), 100Y butterfly (47.52) becoming the champion, 200Y butterfly (1:50.87). Saglam competed at the 2021 NCAA division II championships where he raced the 50Y freestyle (20.56), 100Y freestyle (45.57), and earned top 20 in the 100Y butterfly (47.76).

High School: Graduated from Oguzhan Özkaya Lisesi.

Personal: Son of Cihangir and Funda Saglam...Has one sibling, Elvin... Health and Physical Education/Fitness major…During the club season, he swam for Atlantis Spor Klubü under coach Erkan Mutlu...Second place in nationals…Broke Turkish National Record in 50 fly and 50 back...Birthdate: 10/26/2001.
