Spartans Take on Golden Gophers to Open New Year
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams returned to action on Friday, facing the University of Minnesota in a dual meet at the Riseman Aquatics Center.

- Men: Minnesota 183, No. 2 Tampa 79
- Women: No. 22 Minnesota 209, No. 4 UT 52
TOP PERFORMERS (MEN)
- Blake Moran was the first Spartan to win an event, as he championed the 50 Free with a winning time of 20.55.
- The 200 Back was won by Santiago Corredor as the All-American was clocked at 1:49.14.
- UT had a first-place time of 49.06 from Adrian Aguilar in the 100 Fly.
