Jimi Kiner Named National Coach of the Year After Leading Team to National Championship
RICHMOND, Va. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced its NCAA Division II award winners and All-Americans for the 2023-24 season.
Head coach Jimi Kiner was named the CSCAA Men's Coach of the Year following the Spartans' victory. Kiner is a multiple time Sunshine State Conference Coach of the Year; this is his first National Award.
The awards were determined by a vote of CSCAA-Member Division II head swimming coaches and head diving coaches. All-Americans are selected on the basis of their finish at the NCAA Championships and a team's current membership with the CSCAA. Only student-athletes who competed in their championship finals are eligible for All-America Honors. NCAA relays & individuals must score in the top eight to earn first-team honors while those who finish ninth through sixteenth earn second-team honors.
