
UT Men's and Women's Swim Teams Honored With Scholar All-American Awards
TAMPA, Fla. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) announced the selection of the University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams to the Scholar All-America teams.
A total of 722 teams from 417 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2024 semester. These teams, representing a total of 17,162 student-athletes, were chosen based on their outstanding academic performance during the specified semester.
The national champion Spartans men's team posted a 3.12 GPA as the UT women's team had a 3.53 GPA.
To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Spring 2024 semester. Of the selected teams, an impressive 563 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above.
