
Jacob Hamlin, Tibor Tistan Wins NCAA Individual National Championships on Day Two
INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams concluded day two at the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, with record-breaking swims and multiple All-American honors.
Jacob Hamlin opened the finals with a national championship in the men's 1,000 Free, also setting an NCAA Division II nation al record. Tibor Tistan would also register a national championship, winning the men's 50 Free with a school record time.

- In the 1,000 Free, Jacob Hamlin set a new NCAA Division II record, securing gold with a time of 8:47.23. Rafael Ponce De Leon also earned All-American honors as he finished in sixth place with a time of 9:02.41.
- Tibor Tistan captured the national title, winning the 50 Free with a school record time of 19.12. Caleb Brandon also secured a seventh place time of 19.77.
- Parker Knollman was 14th in the 200 IM with a time of 1:47.49, while William Beckstead-Holman placed 16th at 1:47.73.
- The 200-yard Medley Relay squad finished in second place, narrowly behind Indy, securing 34 team points with a time of 1:24.71.
