INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams wrapped up day four of competition at the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships, marked by an individual National Championship and National Record and multiple All-American swims.
In the city synonymous with fast racing, Jacob Hamlin claimed his fourth National Title of the weekend, this time in the 500 Freestyle, setting a National Record in the process.
On the women's side, freshman Burlingtyn Bokos swam to a fourth-place finish in the 200 Butterfly, breaking her second school record of the weekend.
Bokos on her experience thus far, "All in all, this meet has been super fun, a very fun first NCAA's. I'm excited for the mile tomorrow because I've broken two of my own records this weekend, so I think I'm very prepared to take on the mile tomorrow."
Head Coach Jimi Kiner on what his teams need to do on the final day of competition, "We need to be clicking on all cylinders, get our heads right. We didn't necessarily do what we wanted and needed to do today, but we will get opportunities tomorrow. We'll keep on grinding it out."
