Jacob Hamlin Sets NCAA Record in Regular-Season Finale at Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla - The University of Tampa men's and women's swimming teams traveled to Tallahassee on Friday for a matchup at Florida State University. The No. 3 Tampa men fell to the Seminoles by a score of 183-79 as the No. 4 UT women dropped a 196-65 decision.

The highlight of the meet was sophomore Jacob Hamlin's 1,000 Free performance, as his first-place time of 8:53.99 set a new NCAA Division II national record and University of Tampa school record. Hamlin topped the previous record by nearly 3 seconds.
