St. Cloud State Ends Spartan Win Streak
ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - The No. 40 University of Tampa (2-7) tennis team had its two-match winning streak snapped as St. Cloud State University (9-3) defeated the Spartans by a score of 7-2. The match was played at Sanlando Park outside Orlando.
Tampa had a win from its number-three doubles team of Briana Ryan and Amber Fahrner. The duo posted an 8-6 triumph.
In singles, the lone UT win came from the number-one spot as Leslie Raymond defeated SCSU's Cassandra Brown by a score of 6-3, 6-1.
The Spartans will be back in action on Tuesday in Altamonte Springs as it will meet Saginaw Valley State at 1 p.m.
