Spartans End Season With Loss To Saint Leo

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - The No. 50 University of Tampa (5-15) tennis team played its final match of the 2011 season, falling by a 5-0 score to No. 27 Saint Leo University (14-10) in the Sunshine State Conference Championships at Sanlando Park.

The Spartans cap off a 2011 campaign where it played with just one senior and a predominantly young lineup. The schedule also included several top-flight opponents, with 12 of its 20 matches coming against nationally-ranked competition.
