Sharks Hold on For Win Over Tampa
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The University of Tampa (2-4, 0-3 SSC) tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to No. 24 Nova Southeastern University (3-0, 1-0 SSC) in a Sunshine State Conference matchup on Saturday at the NSU Tennis Center.
After being swept in doubles play, Tampa split singles action with wins from the number three, four and five contests.
Meg Wladimirski, Leslie Raymond and Megan Mancini were each victorious for head coach Al DuFaux's squad.
The Spartans hit the court again on Sunday, where it will face No. 4 Barry University in Miami Shores, Fla. The match is slated for 10 a.m.
