Seton Hall Hands Tampa 8-1 Loss
Kristen Mee and Emily Hewland won at the top doubles match for the Spartans.
TAMPA, Fla. - The University of Tampa (1-2) tennis team met its first NCAA Division I opponent of the season and fell 8-1 to visiting Seton Hall University (5-2) on Wednesday at the Naimoli & Young Family Complex.
The Spartans earned a victory in the number one doubles match, as the duo of Kristen Mee and Emily Hewland prevailed by an 8-5 score.
Tampa returns to action on Thursday at 3 p.m., against No. 34 Chestnut Hill College.
