Tampa Tennis Rolls Past State College of Florida
TAMPA, Fla.- The University of Tampa hosted the State College of Florida in a Wednesday afternoon match at the Naimoli and Young Family Tennis Complex. Tampa won all six singles and all three doubles matches without losing a single set.

How it Happened:

Doubles went first and the pairing of Ekaterina Grib and Savannah Williams, Corbin Dorsey and Dakota Busch, and Lilley Nice and Vanina Iordanova were dominant. The three teams lost a combined one game total.

Savannah Williams clinched the victory for Tampa with a 6-2, 6-2 win over SCF's Martina Shakhnazarova.

Fifth and Sixth singles were dominant with Dakota Busch and Nicoline Palmgren both winning over their opponents 6-1, 6-0.

Corbin Dorsey overcame a slow start to the second set to win 6-1, 6-4 versus Karla Menendez.

Cheyanne Brooks and Tatiana Harrelson both won 8-1 playing exhibition matches.
Up Next: Tampa takes on #13 Flagler this Sunday with matches starting at 11 a.m. The Spartans are 2-3 all-time against the Saints having last squared off in 2013.
