Spartans Cruise Past Ferris State

Daytona Beach, Fla- The No. 16 University of Tampa women's tennis team went up against Ferris State, Monday afternoon. This would begin the Spartan's first of three matches during the Spring Break stretch.

How it happened: 

• Tampa won the first & third doubles matches to get the first point of the match.
• Tampa proceeded to win four straight singles matches in straight sets to secure the victory.
• Ferris State did force the last two matches into the tiebreaker set, however Tampa overcame and won.
