Tampa, Fla- The No. 23 University of Tampa Women's Tennis faced No. 3 Lynn University, on Friday evening.

How it happened: 

  • Ball/Sanchez def. Podbiol/Younes: 6-3
  • Cierniak/Miletic def. Djoubri/Schieroni: 6-4
  • Wilberg/Williams def. Marie/Molina: 7-5 take three out of three doubles to take the first point of the match. | 1-0 (Tampa)
  • Nicole Casas start with power beating 6-1, 6-2 Zofia Podbiol giving Tampa the second point of the match. | 2-0 
  • Following, Williams would be finishing her match winning 6-1, 6-0 against Kristen Younes. | 3-0 
  • Salma Djoubri fought hard to give Lynn their first point of the match defeating Sanchez 6-1, 6-1. | 3-1
  • Lynn, who started coming back with Djoubri, got another point with Jade Marie beating Cierniak 6-3, 6-2. | 3-2
  • Then, Ball after winning in straight sets against Great Schieroni, clinched the match to give Tampa the fourth point that gave them the win. | 4-3
  • Finally, Molina took the last point remaining defeating Anine Wilberg. | 4-3
