Tampa Continues Dominant Stretch Defeating UMary
ORLANDO, Fla- The No. 12 University of Tampa tennis team traveled to Orlando on Thursday morning to face the University of Mary. The Spartans started their first of three Spring Break matches this week.

Series History: This was the first-ever meeting between the NCAA Division II opponents.
How it Happened:
- Tampa swept U Mary in doubles to earn the first point of the match. | 1-0 (Tampa)
- Tampa proceeded to win four consecutive singles matches to secure the victory. | 5-0 (Tampa)
- U Mary fought hard on number 2, but fell against Williams 10-5 in the third set. | 6-0 (Tampa)
- Tampa finished the match with Presley defeating Needham 10-6 in the third set as well. | 7-0 (Tampa)
- Four out of the six singles matches ended in straight sets.
