No. 17 Tampa vs. Florida Southern
Tampa's last match up was against Indiana Univeristy (Pa.) where they dominated winning 4-0. Of the last six games, the Spartans have defeated three opponents without giving up 1 point; showing fluent consistency in their gameplay. The Spartans look to extend their six-game winning streak. Tampa have two players on their roster with a current win-streak of five or more matches: Savannah Williams, and Anine Wilberg. Williams, a graduate is holding a record of 7-2, while Wilberg, so far in the season is holding a singles record of 6-3.
The Spartans will matchup with a SSC rival on Tuesday afternoon. Like Tampa, Florida Southern is also coming from defeating Indiana University (Pa.). The Mocs look to even their season record with an opportunity against the Spartans. Florida Southern's ranked players have had an excellent season with No. 17 Laia Pasini at No. 1 singles, No. 51 Olivia Bryant (11-2) at No. 3 singles and No. 60 Beatriz Costa (6-6) at No. 2 singles.
