Bio

Aquille Trotman joined the University of Tampa tennis program as a graduate assistant for the 2021-22 season.

Working towards an MBA at the University of Tampa, Trotman is a graduate of Asbury University.

He was a member of the Dean's Lists for six consecutive semesters at Asbury, while also being an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete (2015-2019). He graduated Cum Laude from Asbury University with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration.

While playing tennis for Asbury, he was a three-time conference tournament winner and four-time regular-season champions. He also advanced and competed in three national championship tournaments. Among his accomplishments was reaching a team-high ranking of No. 17 in the nation. He was also selected as the captain of the men’s tennis team during his senior year.

Ranked a top 4 junior tennis player in Barbados, he achieved a year-end ranking of No. 1 on the island. He is also a former tennis coach and marketing assistant at Inspiration Academy Tennis in Bradenton, Florida.

Throughout his coaching career, he has worked with top-100 junior players in the world, through Les Petit As Champions, ITF Champions, Florida State tournament champions, USA National team players, Bulgarian National Team players and Barbados National team players.

He has coached at all levels of tournaments from USTA level 7 tournaments to ITF junior Grade 1 tournaments including Eddie Herr, Orange Bowl and traveled to other international ITFs. He has also coached at WTA 15k tournaments.
