Danielle Selkridge Takes Third Straight SSC Player of Week Award
ORLANDO, Fla. - For the third straight week and fifth time in the 2012 season, the University of Tampa's Danielle Selkridge has been named Sunshine State Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week, presented by VALIC
Selkridge, a senior middle hitter from Tortola, Virgin Islands, averaged 3.5 kills with a sizzling .634 attack percentage to lead the No. 7 Spartans to their eighth straight SSC title. In a five-set victory that clinched the league crown, Selkridge pounded 18 kills with no errors and posted five blocks. She then tallied 10 kills and two blocks in a three-set sweep at Barry.
