
#7 Spartans Beat Nyack in New York Finale
GARDEN CITY, N.Y. – The No. 7 ranked University of Tampa Spartans volleyball team cruised to a victory against the Warriors of Nyack College.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Set: The first set began as a back-and-forth contest as the Spartans and Warriors traded the lead. Sarah Luoma and Hayley Dillon combined for 8 kills to give Tampa a 14-7 lead. Which led to a 12-5 run to end the set. || Tampa 1-0
Second Set: Tampa started the second set on an 8-3 run. Hayley Dillon, Kalli Cors, and Sierra Rayzor led the way for Tampa as they carried the Spartans on their 13-7 run to close out the set.

Third Set: Tampa cruised through the third set -- contributions coming from Chelsea Simmons, JJ Ramirez, and Kalli Cors. Jenna Vaske and Hayley Dillon combined for nine kills in the final set to give the Spartans the win. || Tampa 3-0
